Slide gently into the velvet

Let it stand open to your heart and soul

The silence within the shadows that pass over the moon

One day is lost forever to eternity

The moon moves slow like a lover's hand

Caressing the earth gently in it's silver light

There is nothing to hide in that nakedness

All that lies hidden is revealed

Gentle yearning for the morrow's release

For that time that moves between light and dark

In that moment I can know everything

I can receive the night's blessing and the day's promise

I can know the beauty of them both
