The Dew Drop This forest has stood here for generations Ever the same light that falls upon that green shroud There is a life here that sparks within the branches An oldness that permeates the soul of those lucky enough to pass by Nature has ways of telling us when we are right But also terrible wrath of letting the children know when they have gone bad Our comings and goings on this world are small things to that mother Terra shall stand long after we have passed There are moments on butterfly wings When you wonder if the world has more to it than we see And that is the place we should all be in A wonder to see this world through new eyes once more -Dan |
