Adventure There was always excitement around every bend Each day a new tale to be told Outside the safety of four walls that held use for nights only Sunrise would beckon, and we the brave, chased it You wanted a boy But I bet I showed you I was as sturdy as any of their kind! I could do anything you set in front of me Dad That must have suprised you greatly I miss you everyday But maybe more when I see the sunrise Memories of wandering the woods Waiting and watching for the chance of game You know I still have all of those memories? Even shooting rats in the smallest of spaces I would do that again in a heartbeat And I think that would make you smile I miss you Dad -Dan |
