You never think you are going to be looked at as one of the older people in a company that seems so much like home. You always want to have a fresh start somewhere, but when you go to a place that you have already walked the ground of, that is a hard job. Tara sits in the stands looking down at the ring as they assemble it. She has sat in these very seats plenty of times.. preparing herself for matches upon matches. It never mattered to Tara what the match had involved. If she had to fight for love, or a title belt, or just to put over the other person on the other side of the ring.. she was happy to do it, because that is what she loved. Tonight, however, Tara would not be wrestling in any match. She would have to sit backstage and just watch as everyone else got to go out and preform just like they love to do. Tara flips through the songs on her i-pod as she thinks over the last couple of years in her head. It had been a while since she had been in Texas, and she always loved it here... the way it felt to walk outside.. simply lovely. Even though Tara wont be able to preform for all of the wonderful fans tonight.. she knows that she is going to get her chance eventually on OverDrive. She has waited a long time to be on her own, and now she has no man to kiss ass for. Although Jamie is out of her life.. Tara does still wonder about what Jerome had said to her. They hadn't really talked since then, and she was never sure if he just wanted to use her to get back at Jamie.. seems that way with a lot of men these days. Tara is unwilling to fall into any of the nonsense..Tara stands up and rearranges her little black shorts. She looks up at the huge stadium and smiles.. This is definitely where home is, and she loves being back in the company. Tara walks to the stairs and begins to stretch as she listens to the lyrics blasting into her ears, disconnecting her from the real world. "Staring down the road, hoping that I see headlights..... so rock my momma like a wagon wheel, rock me momma anyway you feel.. hey momma rock me. rock me momma like the wind and the rain, rock me momma like a south bound train, hey momma rock me....I ain't going back to livin' that old life anymore..." Tara smiles to herself as she thinks of everything that is going to happen tonight. This may be one of the last Payperviews for a while that wont host Tara Rayge. Tara lays her leg up onto a railing and presses her nose to her knee. She knows that she is probably the best shape of her life, and she is happy for it, because it makes her job easier in the squared circle. After a bit of stretching Tara begins to run up and down the stairs. One of the easiest things to do for cardio, something that Tara always did to clear her mind. Which she needs to do. She isn't stupid, she has seen the promos, Jamie Gunz, was always a whore, and things haven't changed. the sad thing is, Tara has grown up, but Jamie hasn't... He will always be with the young little girl that is too stupid to realize that she is only being used.. and maybe Charlie Haas was right. Jamie was only great because of her. She organized everything for him. Hell if she didn't get him dressed in the morning he probably would look like a huge foool in most of his promos... Tara closes her eyes for a moment and tells her self to let it go. This isn't about Jamie anymore, and she has made the decision to be on the side of his main enemy.. Jerome Morris. Therefore, she doesn't need to have these condradicting feelings.. yet she still does.. which is unfortunate, but she believes that things will get better they just have too.. So tonight Tara is a fan, just like all the other people that will eventually fill in the seats around her. She is going to only watch and see what is going to happen. She is excited, nervous, and somewhat scared.. but this is going to be one of her last nights off for a while, and because of that reason, she is going to enjoy the hell out of it. Plus, unlike all the other fans, she gets to go and party with her old friends later... just like the beautiful and talented Mason sisters... Tara grins remembering the nights back in 05 and 06 and will not be surprised if nothing has changed since then.. the wrestling group is always somewhat the same.. and for that Tara is thankful.. everything around her has changed constantly, and she is grateful for the consistancy that is brought to her by the SKCW... very thankful indeed. Tara reaches the end of the stairs and notices Zoe in the ring working on some moves.. Tara smiles and stops her i-pod as she reaches the baracade. She hops over it and walks to the apron of the ring. Zoe looks down at the other blonde and smiles..
"Hey Ms. Mason, wanna wrestle!?"
Tara grins as she puts her hands onto the side of the ring, and Zoe nods down at her...
"Bring it on Tara! Lets see what you can do!"
Tara laughs at the comment and rolls into the ring, she gets to her feet and drops her i-pod and water bottle off into the corner of the ring. Did it ever feel good to feel the canvas under her feet again.
"What? You don't really think I have lost all of my technique have you?"
Zoe laughs and playfully punches Tara in the arm.. she gets into a defence position and tauntes Tara with her fists in front of her chest..
"Come on, help me prepare for this match I have tonight.. show me what you got lady!"
Tara grins towards her old friend and sends a punch playfully back in her direction. Tara gets onto the balls of her feet and moves closer to Zoe.
"Alright, you asked for it!"
Tara laughs lightly as her and Zoe lock up in the center of the ring.. Did it ever feel good.. With laughter the two of them sent punches at eachother and shortly after Zoe sent Tara into the ropes, Tara came back at Zoe only to knock her to the ground, and with that they both began to laugh... It truly was good to be home again...
