If Eddie and Keela were correct in finding Maddie's cadaver scent then Maddie was dead before the McCanns went to the tapas that night..
To me..the logic is that they knew she was dead and used the night to act out their 'abduction' plan...
The shutters were supposed to be the main indication of abduction, but apparently if ROB was gone from the table to 'jemmy' the shutters he was unable to do so...It was not possible to jemmy them...
Were Gerry's 14 messages on the phone to ROB while he attempted to fix the shutters..?
Why did Kate claim they were jemmied when they weren't?
Did someone forget to tell her the plan had changed? She left the table around the time that ROB returned...was that part of the plan?
They needed to inform everyone as soon as possible that it was an abduction...they phoned their family...they phoned Sky news...
Once it was recognised that the shutters could not have been the reason to believe it was an abduction, they needed to justify it... Kate mentioned the cuddlecat was left on a shelf...Then the doors were 'unlocked' after all (better to be charged with negligence than to have people realise the truth)..
Jane Tanner came along with her bundleman sighting, days later...
Everything was so contrived..
As pointed out to me in another thread...
http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/w ... 040094.ece'.....In the McCanns?minds now, there is no doubt Jane Tanner saw their daughter being taken, but there was so little time to talk in the first few days that it was not until Jane saw the description of Madeleine’s pyjamas in the media, around Monday or Tuesday of the following week, that she told them the little girl she had seen was wearing the same design: pink top and white bottoms with a floral design.
I would like to put together a 'sourced' timeline of the contrived effort of what was said in an attempt to convince everyone it was an abduction...How many days passed before Jane Tanner reported bundleman...What happened at the same time to cause changes in their statements...
If we believe Eddie and Keela then we know ALL of it was contrived...
Maddie was already dead...
Does anyone know if the patio doors had an external lock, or if they they could only be locked / unlocked from the inside ?
I don't know the patio doors in the Ocean Club, but in my experience, most patio doors here are locked from the inside, but don't always have handles on the outside, so you risk locking yourself out if you close the door fully
Many people have been stranded out on balconies this way!
