Then someone else started one, that was taken down too. They are not even letting me answer critics of me on there now!!!! why shouldt I be allowed to make a thread clearing my name of being a liar!!!!! why are they doing this?? They are censoring me bigtime now. PLEASE PLEASE try to get across this message on there, that you cannot alter a sent mail to a hotmail account, please??? I cantr believe they wont even let me post that!!! BB, do you have a screen shot of the e-mail? If not you can down load the following program to be able to do this. Essentially it is a picture of the screen on your computer. http://www.gadwin.com/download/ _________________ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4OKFpTFESww&feature=related Back to top CheeseMaster Social Drinker Joined: 12 Nov 2007 Posts: 53 Posted: Thu Nov 15, 2007 2:44 pm Post subject: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If you have a PC you can take a screen shot by pressing together CTRL and Print Screen ( top row far right on keyboard ) of the active window. Then open up Paint ( Accessories ) and press CTRL-V. Then save that file. But graphics and screenshots can be edited and are proof of nothing. It will be difficult to prove anything. I posted a new thread yesterday asking after you, there were several replies, then the thread was deleted. I then posted another thread and that was deleted within minutes. What's going on? Hi Miranda I was halfway through your thread ealier when it disappeared. I entered thread 'Another thread bites the dust' which didn't even make it to the forum. pm'd mod and was advised it was because of 'legal reasons'. This is what he wrote in his next post ....................... Am I right in thinking that my post has just been deleted where I said I had proof BB's email had come unedited from Merchant's mail account? BB's mail arrived in my mailbox today. The paths and routes showed it coming from Merchants YH account, into BB's Hotmail account and into my mailbox. And there's no facility to edit someone else's mail before you forward it in Hotmail. It at least suggests BB didn't copy and paste it into a new email before mailing it onto me. I was getting whatever had passed through Merchant's and BB's mail boxes. If anybody has Hotmail - just have a go. But I don't think the moderators have any control over it. In Outlook Express..by right clicking the email notification and then choosing properties a window containing message details and headers appear By clicking on the 'Message Source' button it will reveal the same information as well as a copy of the original text from the email. Once received into Outlook Express I can't see any way this could be changed even if the email itself had been changed. OE is no longer free but if it confirms the original message it may be worthwhile using it. Existing inbox will dowload automatically. I would be interested to know if it IS possible to change that message source or if this has been covered elsewhere. |
