It's important to respect everyone's opinion, especially if the opinion formed is with as much information as possible.
What I believe happens is that many people believing in the McCanns innocence, do so because of lack of information and although I respect they feel that way, their opinions may have more credibility if they had more knowledge.
We maybe forget that not only the general public but many people involved in the case, journalists, government officials and maybe even 'backers' etc. are not always privy to the information discussed here on the forum.
Here in 3A we can do the best we can with dropping leaflets etc..sending emails..getting the word out in some way.
If the effort is perceived as 'too pushy' it could easily be met with skepticism and 3A 'beliefs' considered to have an agenda that is in place to disrupt and therefore lose credibility.
The concept of the leaflets suggested by Tigger and the leaflets handed out by polandguy rely on the recipient being made to think for themselves as opposed to being 'told' the information and therefore would be received in a less threatening and more credible way.
I would like to gather together some of these more 'credible and informative' links that can be offered to interested folks that have not had the time or opportunity to be exposed to the other side of the story here in 3A but can be used in a non threatening way to give them information they may not be aware of.
Can anyone suggest some links?
Particularly police 'quotes'...British Police involvement...DNA confirmation quotes..PJ professionalism.....reputable articles or some of the more shocking yet credible links that could discredit the 'spin'.
I am putting together a 'Skeptics' board in Madeleine Group...and will of course add this thread as a link.
