HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THE CADAVER ODOUR DISCOVERED?

I am still reading the book "No Stone Unturned" about forensic investigators and last night I came to a passage regarding the evidence of dogs (mind you they just used bloodhounds who have the best noses but are regarded a being a bit thick and not that reliable). I immediately remembered Gerrys explanation for the scent in the boot of the car. Here is the quote:
Quote:
Dogs might be useful, she noted, although the dogs might be thrown off because of the widespread use of the area by human hunters, whose urine and feces give off the scent of decomposing human tissue.
That reminds me of....right....NAPPIES
Well, the death scent is not an evidence in itself but is nevertheless the strongest indication of her death. And I think the 2 dogs have shown to the whole world how good they really are.
tylersmum wroteSome so called cadaver dogs ,especially those of an amateur organisation as the one in No Stone Unturned are trained on decomposing meat. This is because they do not have access to real human remains.
Eddie on the other hand was trained on human remains ,specifically chemicals named Spermine and Cadaverine.

DR. WILLIAM MORRONE, MEDICAL EXAMINER: There are a number of bodily fluids that could accumulate. When red blood cells compact with platelets and clotting factors, what`s extracted is something called serum. It could be old urine. It could be?BR>
GRACE: Twenty-five days later?
MORRONE: If it`s in the body and the body has been stored, those things, along with other chemical markers, would also give them the idea of decomposition.
GRACE: What do you mean other chemical markers? Break it down, Morrone! What do you mean “other chemical markers?
MORRONE: I`m going to use two words, and one of these is going to be really familiar to you. One of them is called spermine and one of them is called cadaverine. These are compounds that are only given off in dead bodies. You don`t get these compounds in live children or live adults?BR>
GRACE: Oh, you mean like gas, the body starts emitting gas as it decomposes?
MORRONE: It`s still in a fluid state, but these two molecules called spermine and cadaverine, cadaverine is what`s used to train cadaver dogs. They spray cadaverine on a rag, and they let the dogs sniff it, then they go hide the rag. That`s how you train a cadaver dog.
You will note that Spermine and Cadaverine according to Mr Morrone are only to be found in cadavers you don't find them in live bodies therefore one assumes unless the urine and feaces came from a corpse they will not contain either chemical.
Furthermore if Eddie indicated sh*t he would be of no value as he would indicate in every toilet he sees and given the number of "accidents " one would have with a nappy wearing child he would have broke his neck indicating where the twins had messed themselves in apartment 5a.
If has claimed Gerry based his knowledge of forensics from that book the only sh*t will be that sh*t that Gerry finds himself in.
