had a most interesting Maddy update on Espejo Público.
They claimed to have permission from Metodo 3 to reveal:
*Who is paying M3? Brian Kennedy and no one else. BK is said to have no doubt whatever of the McCanns´ innocence. Certain "leaks" to the UK press have commented that the Fund is paying the bill, but this is untrue. CM was misquoted/misunderstood..
*M3 is charging 60,000 euros (plus expenses) for a contract of 6 months.
They also mentioned the following
*Yes the Fund will be paying 80,000 euros for a PR campaign in the Spanish province of Andalucia.
*the McCanns will be re interrogated by the PJ within 10 days.
*that 6 witnesses put RM on the scene that night (3 May)
*the odd coincidence of the British Ambassador´s visit to the PJ within minutes of their return from UK
*the Birmingham forensic tests are not completely finished
* there is a connection between JT and ROB and Murat (through a sister in Exeter)
I was struck by several things here, but most powerfullu by the insistance of BK on assuming the financial responsibility for M3.

Euro's or pounds? has it started yet? As gerry has said 'has started' so this would be good to know.
I guess we have to believe Gerry as it's his blog, but how has antenna got it so wrong by quoting BK as saying he is footing the bill?

Gerrys uncle...hmm, the guy quit his job to look after the 'fund' ...is it a full time job? does he get paid for it? If so, how does it compare to his previous wage?
And how come he was so sure she wouldn't be back within a week or two?
Even if she were found dead (God bless her) the fund wouldn't need him would it?

I was under the impression BK is funding their legal costs with access to his lawyers also

Good morning, all.
Yes, well, I´m sure you can imagine my surprise as I watched this (and taped it).
Now then, A3 makes this claim, even goes to the point of saying that if one actually spoke to BK, he would say the same, as well as reiterating his complete faith in the innocance of the McCanns.
I find it wierd that GM´s blog contrdicts this completely.
Or is it all spin to detract attention from something else.

Who's paying for Caplan and his crew of Lincolns Inn barristers?Branson gave £150000 for a fair trial but that won't go far.Maybe the fund is now paying for the "defence team".

Definately an option as a starting point - It would be possible to have opened an account in a company name, deposited or transferred the funds and then moved it on from there to another account somewhere else - Belize maybe?
I had wondered if they had opened an account with a very similair name to the PI agency - Just a thought
It obviously leaves a paper trail unless cash is deposited but it is possible to do
The only problem with this is would leave their family & friends who are trustees in a vulnerable position

Yes there are 2 men named Brian Kennedy
One is KATE's Uncle - a retired teacher, Jehovas Witness, member of the Fund Board, lives in Rothley with his wife, and is not a multimillionaire
The other is MD/owner of various double glazing companies and a rugby league club, lives near Liverpool and IS a multimillionaire.
It is remotely possible that Antenna3 have got confused between the two and have taken Uncle Brian's statement about the fund paying for Metedo to be a statement by the other BK - but they seem to have specifically differentiated between the two in their report.
