Does anyone know why Gerry's brother went home, I think to Spain, on the same night Madeleine went missing?
I read somewhere that there was a row or argument, sny clues?

A lot of us have been wondering this. Didn't know it was Spain though, thought it was Britain?

I remember reading on this forum that a member of the party went home as he did not agree with plans that were afoot. Apperantly this person was outspoken and would not have been able to remain silent. I did not realise that it might have been his brother. I am sure some of the more computer literate on this forum would be able to provide a link.

Yes, I read that also, and it was to Spain and I think the suggestion was on to Malta....but not too sure about that last bit..could be just stories...

I suppose this person would have been questioned by the PJ?
I did read that it was a relative and that he did not agree with something, as you say, and stormed off.

Didn't he ****** off in a white transit van? I have seen this mentioned in the media I am certain and he has not been seen since and the Police are searching for him?

The mystery man...
There is so much about this case that is hushed up or claimed to be 'rumours', how do we know that leads the PJ may have had were not 'hushed up' too...?
I really suspect this is something to do with Freemasons, Knights of Malta or another secret Society whose members stick together. I would think Richard Branson is a Freemason and possibly the McCanns new lawyer, especially if they represented Pinochet, who was a member of Knights of Malta.
How do we know that Gerry McCann was not the one who undid the shutters, if they were undone - more confusion and moved cuddlecat..he had the opportunity. didn't he.

Is that the same brother (John) who gives interviews on tv?

Or has G got another brother who hasn't been mentioned - it says he only has one brother on www.findmadeleine.com

and by the way, Madeleine was taken as a pawn - she will be returned

I don't think Gerry's brother was there at the time. I think this story came into the world after a reader of the Daily Express left a comment in which she mentioned Madeleine's Uncle (which i.m.o. could have been RoB), who left rather quickly after her disappearance.

Here is part of her comment:

"One thing is certain Gerry if not Gerry and Kate ARE hiding something.

I was in a hairdressers in a posh area locally a few days back, not that far from where Kate Mc Cann's family live, and to make conversation with the hairdresser whom I had never met before, I asked her "What do you think of this Mc Cann' case then"? She replied "Well to be honest I am well sick of it, my friend who lives not far from here, knows Kate's family and she is always saying to me that she just wishes that they would own up and get it all over with, and that Gerry was bad for hiding the truth and that something must have been amiss for the Uncle of Madeleine who was also out there in the party with his daughter who took ill and was left alone in his apartment, left very fast once the police were called in over Madeleine, and it caused a blazing row between everyone as he is the sort of guy who won't mince his words, he tells it the way it is and refused to be a party to lies and so they told him to make a swift departure as he would drop them all in it ad so he left fast the same night as Maddy was abducted leaving others to suspect he was responsible for something too" (quote).

What does this say?

This was said to me by a level headed perfect stranger who had no axe to grind with anyone, and who was a complete stranger to me, whatsmore this was said in earshot of her boss and other customers in the salon, all of whom looked stunned and open mouthed in amazement.

Seems to me there is something not quite right here."

Many thanks, it seems clearer now (!) if anything is in this farcical endless drama, just trying to make sense of it all.
