I'm writing to a show called Montel in the US, because I have few questions about this case.
Montel Williams is a former Navy Seal and not afraid to take on hard crime cases. He makes it a point to protect children and families and has already discussed Madeleine a few months ago. He has helped the police in numerous ways and is a hero, IMO.
If you have a favorite show and have questions about certain diplomatic gestures made in any recent crime cases, I hope you will send in a comment/question to whoever you think is the best investigative journalist today. Why do some people get protected, and innocent children are allowed to be forgotten?

Let's see if this catches any fire ....

Montel:
I am writing to you about a subject that concerns me.
The subject is Madeleine McCann, a 3 year old missing girl from the UK.
I want to know why the McCanns, the parents--two people at the center of this great controversy--are not questioned immediately on this case so that the police can proceed. I want to know if the McCanns are taking advantage of some kind of diplomatic status that allows them not to be questioned by the police.
I want to know what really happened to their daughter and I think they should be made to answer questions before a magistrate (of any country) immediately, so that the case can be solved. I think the police in the UK should get involved.
My main question is, are these parents cooperating, or is there a stall being put on this case in diplomatic channels.
Why can't UK find it in themselves to cooperate?
Don't the people of the UK deserve the truth of what happened to this 3 year old little girl.

"...........Notice how no true jounos have interviewed the McCanns?? People would more than likely ask some correct questions, like WHY????
Why were the children left alone
Why did you call the media before the police
Why did you claim the shutters were broken
Why did you lie to the police
Why did you refuse to answer 40 questions
Why did you scarper faster than a rat up a drainpipe when you were made arquidos
Why did you refuse to take a lie detector test after claiming you would
.......shall I go on??? No, what's the point....."

I reckon we should get the Mc's, Clarence, Murat and the PJ on the Jeremy Kyle show, DNA tests would be back in a day and they could just have a big showdown
pike1 perhaps they`ll be invited to appear on "Give Us A Clue" or "Deal or No Deal"? soon!!!
Sorry back on track......
I sent an e-mail 3/4 weeks ago to "The Matthew Wright Show"[Channel 5 9.00a.m ]to ask him to do some digging around into the case and for a topic about the McCanns and current public opinion to be covered in one of his daily discussions /panel/public participation[It was about the time of the CM News conference /post Filmgate just before the LSE evening....]
He covers a wide range of issues both topical and thought -provoking.....
When I hadn`t heard back I phoned the TV channel and was told that it might not be able to be covered if "the lawyers had advised against it" and then I got a very pleasant but non committing e-mail that they had noted my comments and would forward my suggestion to the editorial Team for consideration.........
Not one mention of the "name" even in his review of the papers over the last month....!!!!
I rest my case

This morning I forwarded the Daily Express article to Montel's show so that their staff can see what's going on with the diplomatic smoke screens.
I think you all should drop a line to Brunt, or whoever you feel should put some pressure on this government who are protecting those who were responsible for Madeleine McCann's tragedy.

I hope you all will drop an email to Woman's Hour and ask what the hold up is in the foreign office and why so many people have been replaced in this ordeal regarding Madeleine McCann.
I just contacted Larry King and Nancy Grace in the US, with the sample letter below.

Larry, and Nancy:
Why are the parents of Madeleine McCann allowed to hide behind diplomats and lawyers and not answers questions immediately about the disappearance of their daughter?
Every day of delay sends a message that there is a cover-up. Why?
This is an article I read today:
Madeleine: Diplomat's secret file that raises fears about her parents
The Express 03 December 2007; Nick Fagge
Full Text:

A BRITISH diplomat warned the Foreign Office of concerns regarding Madeleine McCann's parents, it emerged last night.
Doubts about Kate and Gerry McCann were raised almost immediately by an official sent to Praia da Luz due to what he considered to be "inconsistencies" in the couple's testimonies about the night the four-year-old vanished.
The warning was contained in a classified document sent from the Algarve to the Foreign Office days after Madeleine's disappearance.
Details of the letter have been leaked through the British diplomatic mission in Brussels to the respected Belgian newspaper Derniere Heure.
The unnamed diplomat voices his concern about the "confused declarations" as to the whereabouts of Kate and Gerry McCann and their friends in the final hours before Madeleine's disappearance.
He also mentions the couple's "lack of co-operation" with the Portuguese police in the light of instructions from London suggesting consular staff "overstretch their authority and put pressure on the Portuguese authorities".
The document also asks for confirmation of orders sent by the Foreign Office in London the day before, commanding embassy staff to give "all possible assistance to the McCann couple".
Diplomats on the Algarve were told the McCanns had to be "accompanied at all times during any contact with the Portuguese police" by a member of consular staff or by British police officers sent out from the UK.
The letter, sent just days after Madeleine disappeared, warns of the risks of siding with the McCanns so completely.
Excerpts published in a report by La Derniere Heure quote the diplomat as saying: "With the greatest respect, I would like to make you aware of the risks and implications to our relationship with the Portuguese authorities, if you consider the possible involvement of the couple.
"Please confirm to me, in the light of these concerns, that we want to continue to be closely involved in the case as was requested in your previous message." A huge team of diplomats have been involved in the case since Gerry McCann asked the Foreign Office for help.
In an unprecedented move, the then Prime Minister Tony Blair despatched special envoy Sheree Dodd, a former Fleet Street journalist, to Portugal to act as a "media liaison officer" for the McCann family.
Direct government communications with the McCanns came to an abrupt halt, however, when the couple were made official suspects in the case in September.
Portuguese detectives believe it is possible Madeleine died as the result of an accident on May 3 in the family's holiday apartment and that her parents hid and later disposed of her body with the help of their friends.
The couple have always said they had nothing to do with their daughter's disappearance.
The Belgian report says it is highly significant that almost all of the diplomats involved at the outset have now been taken off the case.
Special envoy Sheree Dodd has since resigned from the Foreign Office, the British consul in the Algarve Bill Henderson has retired and the British ambassador to Portugal John Buck is no longer in Portugal.
Last night the Foreign Office refused to comment on the report."
