Staff from a nursing home in Wrexham have joined the hunt for missing 4 year old Madeleine McCann.

Ten staff from Stansty House Nursing Home have created posters and photo cards of Madeleine which they will give out to passengers at <st1:place><st1:PlaceName>Manchester</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType>Airport</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> in the hope of getting the message of her plight further afield.

The group are asking businesses to offer their photocopying facilities so that they can get as many copies as possible.

Senior carer Dawn Hardman said ”We are looking for businesses to offer us their photocopiers so we can make more colour copies of the posters and photo cards. We are not going to the airport until we have 1,000 to give out. We imagined she was our child. I would like to urge people to do something to help. The more people who get involved the higher the chance of finding her.�?/P>

Madeleine has been missing for 20 days, since she disappeared from the apartment complex in the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz, where she was staying with her family from Leicestershire.

A silent prayer was observed by holidaymakers and residents at the resort on Monday.
