Hi,

I've got a problem in the fuel filter. Gas sits just below the filter in the bowl
and doesn't make it to the filter. I've cleaned, replaced, and tightned everything
according to the manual. But it still sits below the filter. I've thought about going
to an inline filter to see if it solves the problem but I'd like to eliminate everything else
first. Any ideas ?

Phil

Sounds like you may have an air lock. Try taking the line off at the carb and turning it over until gas comes out into a jar or something. If you have a pump with a priming lever, use that instead to get the gas going through the line until you have 1/2 cup or so of gas through the line. Then connect up the line again.

My friend's M715 has this problem all the time. Just do as Vike said, and that should get ya going...

Thanks for the advice. I'll try it tomorrow.
