I just bought my first patrol a 67 the top bolts on the front corners of the windshield frame but there is a gap between frame and top I see bolt holes in top of frame but something is missing. any help or pictures would be great thanks

There should be approx. 6  7/16 bolts that hold the top of the windshield to the top. These are in addition to the four on the corners and are located above the glass facing upwards.  I'd recommend putting in new gasket material otherwise it will be very drafty. if the holes do not line up it may indicate that the top is not original, I've noticed when swapping tops from one Patrol to the other that the bolt holes do not always line up. also, factory softtops may or may not have these holes in the windshield frames, so you may need to drill them out to match the top. good luck!

I just put my top back on for the winter. I have the original but it's in bad shape. This one I got from Jeff had the holes slightly different. I had to drill hole beside the old ones in the winshield frame so the bolts would thread into the holes of the top. I wonder if this is do to year changes? You would think they would all use the same pattern from the factory.

No my problem is on the roof someting is missing I have no place to bolt to, nothing but bare metal across roof the corners bolt but nothing across top that is whats missing I just dont know what.
