My suggestion is, you go to www.binderbulletin.org and check their diesel forum. SD33's came factory in some IHC Scout II's, and there is a wealth of info on that site over SD33's. I know, Ive picked their brain a bit on them as my friend who owns a Scout II was going to give me an SD33...

I live in Angels Camp, kinda of like the middle of nowhere. I used to get parts from Jim Morrow  but lost his information, what about electric ignition?

What about electronic ignition? I have a distributor from a 79 280ZX in my Patrol, and it works great! jmcallis did this conversion first, and I followed his instructions. Once you get the distributor, you should know exactly how to do it.

I ordered points, condenser, rotor, and dist. cap for my 1966 L 60 Patro from a company in Australia.  They arrived and are not the right parts.  I think I should just get another distributer.  Where can I get one????   Spike

It will be much easier for you to find the right cap and rotor than trying to find a distributor.

The ones you got from Australia are for a non-waterproof distributor. All of the Patrols in the US came with the waterproof distributors.

Here is a cap and rotor on Ebay for the waterproof distributor:
