Is there a photo out there of the original wiper motors?
Maybe of a hand crank (and/ or one for sale?)? I've never even had the "honor" of seeing one!

What year Patrol?  There are 2 styles of wipers.  Early models have a wiper motor for each arm and it is clearly visible in the cab.  The later models have one motor that has an arm that ties it together through the windshield.  I have an early wiper motor available if you need one.

I have only found 1 original hand crank.  I have purchased MANY extra handcranks for Patrols over the years.  Call up Rovers North and ask for a handcrank for a 1969 Series IIA.  Fits into the Patrol like it was made for it.  Only downfall is the cross pin is a little weak and can wear out.  The cross pin could be driven out and replaced easily enough.  I tinkered with it but never used it.
