I have a 1966 Patrol with collasped spring syndrom.
Has any one had there springs rearched.
What are the disadvantages?
I know that one advantage is that rearching will be cheaper than purchasing new springs.
If the springs are properly rearched and tempered. Than they should be as good as new right?

Give me details please.

Travis

NO! the springs will be all right for a time, then they'll end up (or more precisely, DOWN) as they were before.
I take my patrol to a spring shop every 2 years, they replace what needs to be replaced, bend what can be bend, change every bushing in the system, put polyurethane ones in place, check the lubrication-grease points and next day it sits 1-2 inches taller and a lot more confortable ride
