Faith and HopeLove is pain,
An unrelieved longing.
The world shrivels and dies,
People disappear,
And only he remains.
It is like existing in two spheres.
The body stays entombed in one;
shaking, beating, hurting.
The heart and mind adrift in the other.
Those who love,live in a seperate existence,
One over which they have no control.
The existence is light,
Yet burdened with fear;
It soars,
Then plunges into darkness;
It sings,
And then dissolves into the bitter tears of parting.
Faith and hope are the voices of the heartbeat...
