My brother wants me to head up North and stay with him for a while. The idea being to work up there for him and get a new lease of life. It's hard to know what to do - but I must admit that it sounds great and would perhaps raise my spirits to where I would like them to be. The combination of isolation and being with family is very tempting but as is the usual case with me I am tormented by indecision. Wouldn't it be nice if things were easy?

There comes a time when we need to take roads that are not on our map.
Perhaps it is time for a change...
throw caution to the wind and run free.....
take the chance and close your eyes and walk in the dark...
that way you will be sure of your path.

Hi John,

Sounds like a big change...and you know me, I love new adventures ...so I would normally say "go for it!" but I'm wondering if this change is the change you need? What would you be doing up north work wise? And how isolated would you be? What's "North"?
