Hi everyone

I came across this poem which I wrote 2 years ago after attending a Professional Development course over two days. Suffice to say that I was impressed with the THRASS message:

I came here thinking that I was the master of my tongue
I'd learned my native sounds - all 26, when I was young
But here I sit ?gob-smacked for sure - I now know just how crass
My learning was - when as a pup - I was denied my THRASS

I've spent my life in teaching - dabbled daily with my verse
And yet in work - and all I do - my spelling is a curse
I'm not quite certain yet, how I, shall take my next word class
But let me firmly say, that first, I'll sit them on their THRASS!

regards to all,
John
