This was an Editorial in the Kansas City Star this morning on the "Unfettered Letters" blog.  I do not know Aubrey Potter but I thought this was worth sharing.

Be good losers and winners

This time next week, we will have elected a new president. A little more than half of us will be pleased with the results, and a little less than half of us will be disappointed. And while voting may have seemed to be the most important thing we did, there is something just as important as casting our vote. It is our conduct after the vote is decided.

I am determined to be a good loser if that is my fate. I don’t want to be screaming “foul?and pointing fingers at the other side. I want my country to heal its wounds and get healthy as soon as possible. If that means the other side gets the credit, then so be it.

And, by the way, if my guy wins, the only revision to this piece I would make is to change the words “good loser?to “good winner.?BR>
