Tuesday, March 18, 2008 Truly live Think of the best possible thing that you could accomplish today, and then ask yourself this. What would be even better? Instead of lowering your expectations to be more in line with reality, raise those expectations and then improve your reality so it matches them. That's a much better choice and yes, you can most certainly do it. Realize that the best is yet to come. Then get busy and make it happen. What has happened before may be interesting and useful to know about. Yet all of that is in the past, and right now the world is filled with brand new possibilities. The quality of your life right now depends on how you live it right now. What will you choose to do with such a magnificent opportunity? This is the moment when you can mold life into whatever you would like it to be. Take a deep breath, stand up, walk forward and truly live all the wonder that is here. -- Ralph Marston HTML & Page Designed By Sunny

As I Walk with Beauty As I walk, as I walk The universe is walking with me In beauty it walks before me In beauty it walks behind me In beauty it walks below me In beauty it walks above me Beauty is on every side As I walk, I walk with Beauty. Traditional Navajo Prayer |

Words That Speak The American Indian is of the soil, whether it be the region of forests, plains, pueblos, or mesas. He fits into the landscape, for the hand that fashioned the continent also fashioned the man for his surroundings. He once grew as naturally as the wild sunflowers, he belongs just as the buffalo belonged.... Out of the Indian approach to life there came a great freedom, an intense and absorbing respect for life, enriching faith in a Supreme Power, and principles of truth, honesty, generosity, equity, and brotherhood as a guide to mundane relations. You have noticed that everything an Indian does is in a circle, and that is because the Power of the World always works in circles, and everything tries to be round..... The Sky is round, and I have heard that the earth is round like a ball, and so are all the stars. The wind, in its greatest power, whirls. Birds make their nest in circles, for theirs is the same religion as ours.... Even the seasons form a great circle in their changing, and always come back again to where they were. The life of a man is a circle from childhood to childhood, and so it is in everything where power moves. -Black Elk (Oglala) 1863-1950 |

A man was walking down the beach at sunset. As, he walked along, he saw another man in the distance. He noticed this man kept leaning down, picking up something and throwing it out into the water, again and again. As, he approached even closer, he noticed that the man was picking up starfish that had been washed up on the beach. He was throwing them back into the water, one by one. Puzzled, he approached the man and said, "Good Evening. I was wondering what you are doing." "I'm throwing these starfish back into the ocean. You see, it's low tide and all these starfish have been washed up onto the shore. If, I don't throw them back into the ocean, they'll die up here from lack of oxygen." "But, there must be thousands of starfish on this beach. You can't possible get to all of them. And, don't you realize this is probably happening on hundreds of beaches all up and down this coast. Can't you see that you can't possibly make a difference?" The man bent down and picked up yet another starfish, and threw it back into the ocean. With a smile he replied, "Made a difference to that one !!!" Just remember, no matter how small the deed it really does makes a difference. Make a difference today. Do something nice for someone else, even if it's just sending this card to a friend and letting them know somebody cares about them.

Thoughts & Prayers Go out to the country of Burma, and all whose lives were taken in this terrible cyclone..... And to those Families, Friend's & Loved Ones that have lost someone there ..... Please also help strengthen those who will be going to assist with their aid.... And please, please, look out and shine down on the animals affected by this, they are helpless and cannot care for themselves.... May God shine his light all of them & may the missing ones be found very very soon ..... | | | | | | | | A Bee bg

Optimistic people tend to achieve their personal and professional goals. Think of someone you know who seems to be getting what he wants out of life. Chances are this person feels good about himself, thinks the world is a nice place, and has more friends than enemies. |

Keep Silent - Keep Sweet - Keep Stepping
Keep silent when rumours about you are stirred When freindship is hurt like a broken winged bird When clamours your heart for it's right to be heard
Keep Silent - Keep Sweet - Keep Stepping
Keep sweet when provoked by some petty affair By those whom you love or your loyality wares When the milk of your spirit is curled with care
Keep Silent- Keep Sweet - Keep Stepping
Keep stepping when other folks hinder your way When your weary and tired at the close of the day Too footsore to run, too weary to pray
Keep Silent- Keep Sweet - Keep Stepping
Keep silent and you'll save yourself needless regret Keep sweet and you'll have the whole world in your debt Keep stepping with Christ the truest friend you've met
