Roasted Pumpkin Seeds
Here is an easy recipe for roasting fresh pumpkin seeds.
Makes 1 1/2 cups (6 servings)
1 1/2 cups raw whole pumpkin seeds
2 teaspoons oil
1 pinch salt
Preheat oven to 300 degrees F
Toss seeds in a bowl with the oil and salt.
Spread the seeds in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake for about 30 to 40 minutes or until golden brown; stir every 15 minutes.
Try adding some spices for different flavors, like cayenne, cumin or garlic powder.
