Scars and other wounds:(this is my recipe, and i used to use it every year on my son, it works great)
2 packets Knox unflavored gelatin
small amounts of hot water
Empty both packages of gelatin in a bowl. add a tiny bit of water, just enough to make a paste. mold onto skin with toothpick (you can put it on pretty thick if you want a really big scar or wound) and let dry, it dries pretty fast. you can paint it. stick a safety pin through it, all kinds of stuff.
i've done stitches thru it after it dries. and i've stuck a string hanging out of it while wet. then when it dries, you can tie anything you want on the other end of the string. one year my son went as a zombie hobo...i know, wierd huh, anyway we glued a fake eyeball on the other end of the string and blacked out all around his real eye, so it looked like he had a scar below his eye with his eyeball hanging out!!! pretty cool
