Layer the following ingredients in a deep, oblong pan or casserole dish. The amounts are determined by the depth and size of the pan used. Of course, the layers that call for salt and pepper, for example, won't actually be "layers," but where they are placed is when you add them.

1st layer: chopped spinach
2nd layer: chopped hardboiled eggs
3rd layer: crumbled bacon
4th layer: salt, pepper and a little sugar
5th layer: chopped lettuce
6th layer: frozen peas, thawed
7th layer: chopped green onions
8th layer: salt, pepper and a little sugar
9th layer: mix of half mayonnaise and half Miracle Whip, spread like icing
10th layer: Mix of shredded sharp cheese and shredded carrots
