Some time ago maybe 4 months ago I bought an Espson dx 4400 combo scanner printer I rue the blessed day!!

Individual Low Cost inks they claim...absolute rubbish  Short lasting and over all  ( Compared to previous printers, yes this had slightly better quality) more expensive, when you tot up and so tempramental and difficult to change  ( ie getting it to stop in the right carriage postion even following the instructions) the cartridges, even after praying before trying. I finally gave into my other self the little fella with the forked tail sitting on the other shoulder and have launched the blessed thing out of the window and good riddance. It hit the ground from up here on the third floor and as stupid as it appears and yes maybe childish I am feeling really satisfied at having dumped the blessed thing!!

Any suggestions for a replacement?

Crap with a capital C,  I swear I'll never ever buy another epson printer as long as I draw breath!!!

Inekas.......

PS yes I did clear up the wreckage

Hiya Inekas. Some years back we bought my Mum a real cheap Printer. I cant remember the name of it, but it wasnt a well known one, and it works perfectly. Im not rubbing it in, but maybe the well known ones arent all theyre cracked up to be.

Hi there ,
I just had to put my 2 cents in here about Epson Printers. They are garbage ! Mine was doing the same thing  a couple years back ,and I have not bought a new one ,as I really have no need for one as of now .I threw my Epson out !
Hugs,
Ann
