Well, I've been and bought another printer and I'd like to thank those who offered me their advice etc.
I do however have to say it wasnt a very promising start.....
I've bought a Canon MP 520, combination scanner printer which allegedly will work on compatiables although I noticed the "chips" on the cartridges as I put them in and then low and behold the damn thing wouldnt work it had a fault and I had to take it back...
Bloody marvellous I hear you cry...anyway the second one does work and so....far..... its a marvellous tool it will work all on its own or with a computer or camera and you can even put memory cards and print directly from those etc etc It might even make a cup of tea I haven't got that far yet with the manual I'll let you know if it does...
The first print was a picture on ordinary paper from a phone and its quite good !
