What the heck is WASR when I'm looking at these AKs? One guy was bragging his AK wasn't one of those WASRs. As you know, I'm looking to complete my gun needs with an Ak in 7.62 already have a Mini 14 in .223, 3 .22s and enough ,22 lr to sink a battleship lol. Any help is appreciated and I believe I understand your wink, wink, hint ,hint. in the daily questions. Thanks again Brother.

The WASR is a Romanian semi-auto copy of the AKM (stamped receiver AK)  Some rifles built under the Clinton 1994 AWB are made for single stack magazines only and are without the bayonet lug or compensator.  Current production guns are in 7.62x39 5.45x39 and have all the features of the originals (except select fire).

Some early Romanian guns exhibited poor quality control, but this has been fixed.  AIM Surplus has them for about $319.
