Since I switched from Remington to Federal 12 gauge slugs, I've noticed the box says 'Power-Shok rifled slugs'. What is your take on this? Is 'Nonie' ready for that? They look like the slugs I've always shot?

Unless the box has some kind of advertising on the side that explains what the "Power-Shok" means, then it's probably just marketing hype.  You may notice more recoil with these.  Federal tends towards the "hot" side on their ammo loadings.
