I'm better with a rifle, and best with my Savage 10FP in .308, that baby is a tack driver.  I do OK with my AKs too, and I'm a fair shot with pistol, good enough to keep myself alive, if it ever came to that.  That Savage is the only rifle I've ever had where I could cover five shots at 100 yards with a dime.

I know I'm better with a rifle, but by all means, I'd prefer a shotgun!

I shoot a rifle well.  My pistol and shotgun shooting rank second and third.  I also shoot Ma Duce well, like the Chief.  You'd better have a very deep hole or be behind reinforced concrete when Ma Duce goes after you!

I still rank myself as more than expert with the rifle so that is #1.

Blankenship taught me to shoot the pistol but I am nowhere near as good with that.  So the pistol is currently #2

I only began shooting with a shotgun last year so I am still learning the little differences between slugs and the different sizes of pellets for accuracy.  So, right now the shotgun is #3.

Well, it does help when you have a good rifle.  As long as I do my part, it does its part.  Heavy barrel, free floated, pillar bedded, and a very light trigger.
