Fiocchi 357 Mag 142gr. FMJ ammo. This ammo is manufactured by Fiocchi in Italy, and is excellent quality ammo. I have shot 47 rounds of this ammo and I am very pleased with the way it functions. It is clean* and accurate. This ammo is brass cased, boxer primed, non-corrosive and 100% new factory fresh. This is some excellent target ammo for the price. It comes packed in a 50rd. box.
*When I cleaned my Tracker, I wiped it off first, then ran a dry cloth down the barrel and cylinder. Hardly even stained the cloth. I put a few drops of Militec-1 on the same cloth and nothing else came out. Not believing this, I took my brass swab brush and went through the barrel and cylinder. Took a clean cloth and did the barrel and cylinder again. Negligible GSR! I am amazed at how clean Fiocchi fires and would recommend at least the .357 ball for target practice!
Great range report on the Fiocchi .357 Mag ammo. For those not familiar with it Fiocchi makes very good ammunition. A word of caution, though. Fiocchi is generally regarded as "hotter" in the pressure department than your generic white box of American Eagle or Remington ammo. That being said, Fiocchi is suitable for use in good quality guns like Cat's Taurus .357 Magnum.
For cheap practice, consider .38 Special ball (full metal jacket) rounds, such as CCI-Speer Lawman in +P loading with the 158 grain bullet. The FMJ ammo is designed for training. (CCI-Speer markets has loads with standard primer composition (Lawman) and clean burning primers for indoor ranges (Lawman Clean-Fire).
