Although I don't hunt, this book is facinating to read. It's about safaris done by a professional hunter, Keith Bates. It covers lions, rhinos, crocidiles and many dangerous game in the world. A favorite story in the book is the hunt for a deranged water buffalo that had killed villagers in a small African town, it's quite hair-raising.

The author, Mr Bates is the grandfather of a customer of mine. Now at 76yrs old, he's still hunting and doing conservation work with tigers in India. The book was first circulated in 1970, so it may be hard to find, but the search is well worth it.

Here's a picture from the book. Note; he used a handgun to drop a rhino!
