Yes Bigguy the blueberry is definately one of natures finest . I too have picked and eaten my share . But mom would have been lucky to get a gallon pail full from me . They usually got wolfed down quite a bit before I reached home . Any bears I came across in those days ran but caution was a must . My dad one time had a sow bear and two cubs keep him up in the forks of a birch tree for four hours though . If he moved at all while in the tree she would charge . Finally when she had her fill and left , he was able to get down and return to the camp site . I was a youngin of 8 or 9 then , and only had one thing on my mind and that was fishing . So I didn't even notice him gone for all that time . LOL .
