Went for a scouting run up to Black Sturgeon Lake on Sunday.

There is only one word to describe the condition of the Black Sturgeon Road.   ROUGH!!!!!!  There is no rust left on my truck.  The road has a lot of washboard!  The road has a lot of holes....and a lot of rocks sticking out of the aggregate.  You also have to be very careful as there are numerous edge cuts on the road.

It's best to take it VERY easy on the approaches to the bridges.  North Sucker is the worst....if you hit it at speed you stand a good chance of being tossed into the guide rails.  On a brighter note they put a new deck on the Nonwatin River bridge.

Oh ya......you would be well advised to turn off your CD player and listen to the radio.
