The Black Sturgeon Road is in pretty good shape!   The section from the Muskrat turn off to Spruce River bridge was graded this past spring.  The start of the road from Hightway 11/17 to the Camp 42 turnoff is like a highway.  Up to the Scooper Lake Road it is pretty normal with a few rocks and holes to watch for.  From there to the airport is a 40 km/hr road, though it was run this summer by chiptrucks.
