What about New Years Charlie. I always leave decorations up until after New Years and then everything gets put away for another year. Thats one advantage of an artificial Christmas tree, they can be put up and taken down at any time and not have to worry about watering them or how long they will last. Never thought I would ever go to an artificial tree but I have and dont mind it as they are very easy to put up and take down. Real trees are a bit more fussy to take care of and messier to clean up after. Though I must admit a real tree is wonderful too.

We used to have an artifical tree for many years till my brother that raised real trees found out. Then we had real trees for several years and yes they are nice and they are nice and messy. But after he passed away we went back to the artifical ones. I was out driving around last weekend and there are still a lot of yards fully decorated still. Just glad i don't have to pay for there light bill.  charlie
