I have lost pets too.  When they are part of the family, you feel the hurt just as deep as if it was a person.

Losing my kitty Rocket was hard on me a few years back, I think I cried every nite for a week straight.  Now I have Bootz and though he drives me crazy at times, I still love him like a kid of my own, I guess he really is my furkid! (and even my son John doesn't object to much when I refer to him as Bootz's big brother!  lol)
 
Thanks for sharing Rainbow Bridge with us, Charlie  Nice to know there's a place for our beloved family members to be happy, healthy and whole again, they sure do bring so much to our lives
