Friendly reminder, Eddy, when you post from your email you expose the other person's email address.  I have done this before, not thinking, but I have made it a point to try and remember to come to the Pond boards (or whatever Group it is) to post.

Sheesh!  Bigguy's habits and lectures musta rubbed off on me, cuz he downright scolded me a few times for doing it!   But last couple years, I've been an angel about it  lol

On a happy note, it does sound like your weather can only get better from here on out!  and on the way to you, I'm sure!

Val

Seems spring has been trying to stall on us since camper has been working on those drums.  Coincidence?

Why am I not surprised with all the weird weather goings-on the last couple of years?  My spring is on the way out, you haven't got yours yet, FREAKY  lol

After having the most rain since '96  this '07-'08 winter, we are back in drought, and now starts wildfire season, this ain't good.  As Usual!  bleck!   The surplus water is good while it lasts.  Then it's gone again, no big surprise there, at least...

Who cares, I'll camp in any kind of weather, mild or wild.  It's worth it!

Val, U not have any Rainmakers out your way?? I have heard of them it seems? Everyone knows that the US Government conspires with the weather to cause flooding in cantankerous places around the globe - maybe Arizona has just gotta get a little more belligerant with Washington??

Will the up-coming dry-spell impact detrimentally on rattlesnake production in your parts??

I usta have a friend who wanted to go out yer way and collect rattlesnakes (I forget why??)

hehehe!

The last rattlesnake I've seen was one I ran over while driving to my dad's place.  Felt bad but I wasn't about to swerve into another lane doing 70 just to avoid it!

I don't know about your weather conspiracy theory, but I do know we could use a couple of them rainmakers...

Cooling trend this weekend, was only 85 yesterday and the weather-guessers are predicting 88 today, not too hot.  I am not looking forward to the triple-digit weather that's on it's way, though-YUCK!

Ciao, Darling

Well the day started out in the 60s and though it was gonna be a good day for a bike ride.

But before the time came for the ride the wind picked  up and the temps dropped way down and had to put on some long pants.

My son and i were the only ones to show up for a ride .

He went back home as he is getting redy for his wedding day next sat.

So i went by myself and rode a little over 11 miles on the bike trail we have here on an old railroad bed.  They rebuilt a railroad trestle for the bikes to cross over a nice canoeing creek. Here is a couple of pics i took of the trestle and down the creek. Don't wanna fall off as its a long way down to water.  charlie

When they started canoing on this creek it had lots of water but not now. Only the lower half of it floatable now but you can do a lot of draging and walking if ya want to.

A few years ago when it started we had canoiers from all over the world came for racin but the water table dropped and now not enough water.

There is good fishing for smallies, sunfishes, rock bass or (goggleeye)
