After talking on the phone with Trapper for years, I finally got to meet him. He and his girlfriend Star came for a visit to see our beautiful area.  Nothing doing, we had to get out camping. Think they brought everything but the kitchen sink. LOL

Took them to a very remote area down rough roads and even puddles across road that could be classed as little lakes. Managed to get there without any problems (breakdowns, stuck, etc.)  Set up the tent trailer in less than nice weather (rainy and cold) but was comfortable enough inside trailer. Major and Missy gave it paws up as they do like to be comfortable also.

Trapper had fishing equipment, hunting equipment, camping gear and enough food to feed an army. They had fun exploring the area on their quad and I even got to drive it (picture to prove it)

We dined on fresh partridge, shrimp, ham, eggs, etc. We tried but were not able to catch any fish. The dogs kept chasing the hooks and could be why no fish.   LOL

Had a great time despite the miserable weather (rainy, cold and even got some snow the last night we were there) but real campers know you can have fun no matter what mother nature throws at you if prepared for it. Had a fire every night and some tall tales were told   HaHaHa

All in all, a great time was had and hope to repeat it another time (maybe in summer next time)  Sure was nice to meet online friends that love the outdoors and can share camping fun. Thanks for the great adventure Trapper and Star. Had a blast and would love to get together again for more camping fun.

Check out some pictures of our adventure in Pictures - Muriel's - page 3 and 4.

looks like Trapper loves to camp regardless of the weather and by the smile on your faces looks like you had a great time.  Thanks for sharing Muriel.

I am so glad that you made it through a camping trip with Trapper.  I see that there are no bite marks and you have all of you limbs.  From the tales that I had heard about people camping with him and not coming back, I was afraid that you would of been on his menu for supper..lol   A story from long ago..lol

Looks like you all had a awesome time.  The smiles tell it all. So glad that you got to meet him and Star.  I haven't had the pleasure of meeting Star, hope to someday.

Great pictures.
