Lst red fox i saw was a couple of years ago that was being chased by a dog  when a friend of mine were out riding our bikes and met them coming down the road. When the dog saw us it turned around and left and went back home i guess. Poor little fox was all out of breath and tired it was. It stood there in a yard and just looked at us like it was saying Thanks guys for saving my butt.

cool story charlie!!    we had a doe one year,,  we helped her out of the broken ice, freezing water,,   I didn't think she was gonna make it,,  but she looked back at us too, as if to say thanks,,   

 

 

Congrats Sue on winning the local contest.. Now its time to go national.. You take wonderful pictures.  Glad that you always have a camera near by.. Love them.  I too would like to take the second pic.  I have had  the one of the bear up ..

oh Trina, don't I wish I had pics of a moose,,    but generally when I am out in moose country,,  I don't have a camera in hand,, it's a rifle,,  and even then they've been scarce!!   

 

I'll work on getting a moose picture for ya  

 

the contest I won in,,  I got an email from them yesterday, and they said that several of my shots will be presented in the local calendar for '09!!    I can't wait to see it!   my mom is gonna buy the whole works!!    she's gonna send them to everybody she knows,,  (she's my best cheering section imaginable!!)

Moms are like that..always right there.  my mom has been gone for 11 yrs now and still miss her.  She was my supporter in a big way too. Give your mom a hug for me.

I carry a small camera with me when i go hunting and bike riding and walking around the lake area here at home.

oh now a baby moose?   lmbo!!    that's gonna be tougher!   I'll see what I can do for ya,,   we're going out next Saturday on a moose hunt,,   wonder if we'll get to shoot one with the rifle,,   I'll have my camera with me too,,  and hope to get some good pics while out playing in the snow.
