today Mike come home from work at lunch, and when he was getting ready to leave, I spotted a doe and her youngster in the yard,,    the truck moving in the yard didn't spook them,,  so I managed to get a few shots of the little guy/gal,,   I couldn't believe how small he is!!!

Beautiful pics as usual Sue. You sure do take marvelous pics. No wonder they want to do a calendar of some of your shots. Thanks for the post. Looking forward to more from you.

That sure is a mature coat for a deer so small! It better hang tight to Mama if it wants to make it through til spring. It's a nasty thought but Nature in its wisdom may, for the betterment of the spieces, see that it diasappears over the winter. Get a Pic' next year Sue & let us know???

VERY nice Pics, tho. U do have 'a way!'

Was out hunting deer a couple years ago. Spent 20 minutes nose to nose with one this small. Wasn't afraid of me at all - and no camera!!!!. That little encounter was worth more than shooting 2 big bucks !!!
