This is a quick excelent shore lunch best prepared before hand. Take one trout remove head and guts. Prepare stove top stuffing and fill fish cavity with stuffing a strip of bacon in with it adds even more flavor. Then wrap entire fish with tinfoil. let fire die down to hot coals, cook till desired tenderness.When cooked all or most of the skin stays on the tinfoil.
Do sound good Dan. We used to do a pit cook with trout wrapped in wet newspapers. We stuffed potatoe, onion, mushroom and salt/pepper in the fish. When the black package was opened the smell would drive ya wild.
