Death of winter

Her once glimmering white cape

Now tattered, splattered and torn

Was hardly a ghost

Of once proud power

Bitter cold of breath

Loud her nightly howl

As she tested all manner of beast

Who dared

Victory was sweet

Her vaunted rule by might

Having lost it’s fearfull grip
