2 c. sugar
3 eggs
4 c. self rising flour
2 or 3 T.  milk
2 sticks butter

Sift sugar and flour into a large bowl. Make hole in center and add eggs, butter and milk. Mix together
until soft dough is formed, adding addtional milk, if necessary. Roll dough our to about 1/4 inch or less
and cut into cookies. Bake onlight colored cookie sheet at 400* until lightly browned, about
8 to 10 minutes. Cool on wire racks.

This is not my grandmother's recipe that I am aware of, it's one I found in a cookbook I have here at home.
