Police in Kalamazoo, MI, say a trucker was the target of a potentially deadly attack early Tuesday morning, Aug. 5, when he approached an overpass on Interstate 94 in the southeast part of the city.
The FedEx driver told police he saw three men, or boys, on the overpass and that they threw a bicycle off the bridge and into his path.
He ran over the bike, then pulled over and stopped – only to discover that there was a bullet hole in his cab. The bullet hole was about two feet from where he was sitting.
The trucker wasn’t injured, and no one is in custody. However, police are hoping someone saw something around 1:15 a.m. Tuesday on I-94 at the Kilgore Road overpass in Kalamazoo. Anyone with information should contact the police at 269-337-8120.
