Sorry I have been gone, we got hit really bad by the winter storm, I think there was 415,000 without power in kentucky. We were one of them. We were without power 5 days, spent two of those days at home. No one we knew had power. We decided that we could go to my ex's house if just to stay warm. We were debating that and he called and said he just got his power back on and to come on over. We went over there on Thursday, when we left, it was 39 in the house, the neighbor nextdoor had a generator and was trying to keep his house warm and ours too, but it was just too much for his generator to handle. You could not find a generator any place. One store got about 600 in and they were all gone within a hour. They are saying this is the worse winter storm in Kentucky's history. There are still many counties that don't have power and it may be 7-10 more days. Some counties are without power and water because they water company is ran on electric. Schools were closed all week, my grandsons has cabin fever really bad. They still are not sure if there will be school tomorrow. There are still schools without power.
Now that we are home, we get the pleasure of throwing away food that thawed out and I get to go to the store to replace it. I hate going to the store.
The only pleasure out of this was I got to spend a few days with my ex. Just being near him and talking to him was wonderful. He is such a sweetie. My mom is on oxygen at night. The company delivered 3 tanks to her and we took one because we didn't think we would be gone over a day. Well we were and he went out 2 days and got her some oxygen tanks. He cooked for us I am so bad. Love that man to death. OH well enough about that.
Ok got to go to the store, will try to be back but the University of Louisville is in the Super Bowl and I worked there 32 years and GHOST HUNTERS is on all day.
So I am sorry for not being able to get a message to the group earlier but our power went out at 2:00 am Tuesday morning
