A few years ago I had a terrible cough that lasted for two months, antbiotics did nothing.A friend suggested this reciepe. It worked so well that I had half our village taking it.
Juice of 6 lemmons
3 cups cold water
3 tbls pure maple syrup
1/4 or more of cyanne pepper
Sip on this all day long and make a fresh batch tha next day as it looses it's pottencie.

You may add more syrup and cayanne( good for the lungs)

Yes !  That sounds like an Edgar Cayce recipe that a friend of mine swears by faithfully !  Cayenne pepper is high in vit-C and some other things according to an herbalist friend of mine - I've seen her rub it directly into cuts & scratches & seen them heal pretty much over night.    My grandmother always recommended honey & fresh lemon juice & fresh grated ginger or 1/4 to 1/2 powdered stirred in also gives it a good boost.

Thanks Maggie
