Ya know, it brings up a good question. How do the powers at AI decide these songs? Is it simply a matter of having a contract with certain songwriters and telling them to write the worst thing they could think of?

I don't know if they have a contract with anyone or not. We know Tamyra helped write two of them..and with Nick what's his face this year. I wonder who has written the other ones.

I thought that was debunked, about Tamyra and Nick. They didn't have anything to do with this year's single, did they?

 

I liked the Washington Post review which talked about the "signature American Idol treacle tune, accompanied by the Treacle Tune Choir"

Tamyra helped in seasons past, but not this year. She's not that bad, lol.
