"Speaking of Kat, she was interviewed on Dallas’s Top 40 station this AM, by one of her biggest fans, Kidd Kraddick. His daughter is touring the Boston Conservatory right now and he was rooting all season for Katherine, his daughter’s idol. I guess Kat must have attended school there because she was giving Kidd tips about it: the tuition costs, how her $7,000 scholarship didn’t make a dent in the cost, etc. Evidently though, when Kidd asked her if she knew anyone from Click Five ( I guess some in the group attended as well)…she said she never heard of Click Five. The dj’s were astounded! She was in NY, making the rounds and she said it was almost as good as winning…she’s doing the exact same amount of TV/press appearances as Taylor…just like the same year as Ruben & Clay…like they were co-winners…not like the Fantasia & Diana year�? huh???? What about Carrie & Bo…�?she never mentioned them at all.

They talked about Idol and Kidd asked if it was frustrating not winning and she said it was frustrating not having any “schtick�?and how it appeared to her to be a personality driven contest and not a singing contest (paraphrasing here). And then she said how she and Pickler were good friends, but she told her after one show where after Kelli ended up in the Top group and Katherine in the bottom group and said “You need to go home.�?(I’m not paraphasing this…exact quote!) Katherine said she started thinking she needed to start talkin�?lack she wuz frum the south�?(she put on major accent here) or dancing crazy to advance, and then she decided to just be herself and sing and wear pretty dresses and let the votes fall where they may. The DJ’s loved her interview because they said she wasn’t a suck-up�?.I’m not her fan at all, so she came across to me as a whiny spoiled “B.�?She had not one kind word to say about Taylor. When asked about Chris going unexpectedly, she said they were all shocked and it was a tough nite for her because SHE didn’t get any love and Chris got all the sympathy and it was hard for her to have the guilt of her staying and not him."

"I'm really sick of hearing her talk about how losing was as good as winning. She did the same thing on LKL and several other shows. I think she's trying to deflect from Taylor's win. The Clay-Ruben thing is laughable. They were co-winners because there were only a couple of hundered votes separating them. She lost to Taylor by a huge margin. Even more than Dianna's loss to Fantasia. Every year the runner up and winner have been gracious towards each other. Taylor has said nice things about her but she's been nothing more than an arrogant bitch towards him and the others."
