From Billboard- Quote: Katharine McPhee, this year's second-place finisher on "American Idol," sees her "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" single sell 47,000 copies in its first full week at retail. She also sells an additional 28,000 digital downloads of the song. This all comes just two weeks after "Idol" winner Taylor Hicks crashed the charts with the formal bow of his "Do I Make You Proud?" single. It moved 190,000 copies in its first full week. Hicks also moved 38,000 digital downloads of "Proud" in its first week. His combined sales tally awarded him an easy debut at No. 1 on The Billboard Hot 100, which blends radio airplay, commercial single sales and digital downloads ... It's likely that a No. 1 bow on the Hot 100 for McPhee is out of the question. My note: The only other Idol winner or runner-up with worse sales (Justin didn't have a single) was Diana DeGarmo, but at least her 65,000 first week sales were all physical sales. McBarf's physical sales are the bottom of the barrel.

Don't MAKE me go through years of posts, or even just this season's, to prove you wrong. I don't need to, anyway, because, trust me, you fool no one. |

I am not going to sit here and argue with you all day about the non-future of this talentless hack. I have things to see and people to do. So, spin on with your fantasies all by your lonesome ... Tah-tah. |

then stop obessing over her :-) I am merely posting her dreary sales numbers, because you failed to do so in a clear case of slanted journalism. L Hahahahaha, I still love you, even if you are a terrible spinmeister. |

I like how she always made comparisons to the Ruben/Clay season. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I think she's going to be dissapointed. |
